Wow Catering
I was hired by Wow Catering to develop a fun Brand Identity that would encapsulate the essence of the business. I got the idea of using the word Wow and having it knock over the exclamation point because it was truly a style of catering that drew out that expression from clients. The owner of the company regularly mentioned how clients would always say “WOW!” when they entered a room that they catered and tasted the food. The client was extremely happy with the results and used the logo on stickers, postcards, t-shirts and more through the 4+ years it was operational. Below is a sample of the various uses of the logo I designed.
J&J Music
J&J Music was a live entertainment booking company I ran with a fellow trumpet player for several years in Seattle. We grew from booking various live music venues around town including Jazz Alley and Triple Door to booking numerous corporate and private gigs for clients like Microsoft, Vulcan, Neiman Marcus, City of Seattle, the Washington State Governor, EMP (Experience Music Project - now MoPop), Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery, and many, many more. I designed our Brand Identity using the treble cleft as a fun way to mimic an ampersand in our company name. The design was simple and clean, and it drew the attention and respect of many customers throughout the years.
